Bruce DeSilva

Bruce DeSilva is an Edgar Award-winning author of crime fiction, including the Mulligan series, who spent over 40 years as a journalist, notably as the Associated Press's writing coach training journalists worldwide.[1][2][4] His debut novel *Rogue Island* won the 2011 Edgar Award for Best First Novel and the Macavity Award for best debut.[1][2] He lives in Howell, New Jersey, with his wife, poet Patricia Smith, their granddaughter, and two dogs.[1][4]
