Brandon Stanton
Brandon Stanton is an American author, photographer, and blogger born on March 1, 1984, who created Humans of New York (HONY), a photoblog and storytelling project with thirty million followers on social media. After working as a bond trader in Chicago, he moved to New York to pursue photography and began documenting the lives of ordinary people through portraits and interviews. His work has been called 'one of the most important art projects of the decade' by The Washington Post, inspired thousands of similar projects worldwide, and helped raise over $20 million for various causes.
