Billy Taylor

Billy Taylor was an American jazz pianist, composer, educator, and broadcaster known for helping popularize and explain jazz to wider audiences through television, radio, and educational work. He was also a prominent advocate for jazz as an art form and is associated with the composition "I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free."
