Billy Collins
Billy Collins (born March 22, 1941) is an American poet known for his accessible, conversational style, gentle humor, and sharp observations of everyday life. He served as U.S. Poet Laureate from 2001 to 2003 and taught at Lehman College, CUNY, for many years.
