Bill Mason

Bill Mason (1929–1988) was a Canadian naturalist, author, artist, filmmaker, and conservationist best known for his canoeing books, wilderness art, and documentaries. Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, he studied at the University of Manitoba School of Art and later became a celebrated National Film Board director.
