Bill Adler
Bill Adler (born December 18, 1951) is an American music journalist and critic who has worked extensively in the music business since the late 1960s, specializing in hip hop and serving as director of publicity at Def Jam Recordings. He has held diverse roles including record store clerk, radio disc jockey, publicist, biographer, record label executive, documentary filmmaker, and archivist, and is known for works such as 'Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest'.
