Betül Tunç is a Turkish-American culinary creator, recipe developer, food photographer, and author known for her Turkuaz Kitchen social media accounts, which have amassed over 10 million Instagram followers and 2 million on TikTok. Born and raised in Erzurum, Turkey, she moved to the United States with her husband and now resides in Blacksburg, Virginia, where she gained fame in 2021 with a viral video of punching down dough for chocolate caramel babka. Her debut cookbook, 'Turkuaz Kitchen: Traditional and Modern Dough Recipes for Sweet and Savory Bakes,' was published in 2024.
