Betty Neels
Betty Neels (1909–2001) was a prolific British romance novelist who wrote over 134 chaste romance novels for Mills & Boon and Harlequin, starting with *Sister Peters in Amsterdam* in 1969 and continuing into her 90s. A former nurse and midwife who served in World War II and lived in Holland, her stories often featured gentle heroines and Dutch doctors set in Western Europe.[1][2][3]
