Benjamin Balshone

Benjamin Balshone was an American-born Jewish author, pharmacist, and businessman from Columbus, Ohio, who owned the former Lynn Drug Co. He wrote the book 'Determined!', which recounts the true story of his wife Marianne Balshone's survival during the Holocaust in Budapest, Hungary, thanks to Raoul Wallenberg's efforts. Balshone is honored through awards like the Ben Balshone Oral History Award and the Benjamin Balshone Student Award at Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.
