Ben Wynn

Ben Wynne is a historian and author born in Florence, Mississippi, who earned his doctorate in history from the University of Mississippi. He serves as a professor of history at the University of North Georgia in Gainesville, Georgia, specializing in Southern history, antebellum America, the Civil War, and Southern culture including music and politics. Wynne has authored several books on these topics, such as Mississippi's Civil War, A Hound Dog Tale, and Something in the Water: A History of Music in Macon, Georgia.[1][3][6][7]
