Ben Lerner
Ben Lerner is an American poet, novelist, essayist, and critic born in Topeka, Kansas in 1979. He has received prestigious fellowships from the Fulbright, Guggenheim, and MacArthur Foundations, and has been a finalist for the National Book Award, National Book Critics Circle Award, and Pulitzer Prize. He is a Distinguished Professor of English at Brooklyn College and is known for seamlessly blending poetry, fiction, and cultural criticism to explore the relevance of art to modern culture.
