Ben H. Winters, born June 14, 1976, in Potomac, Maryland, is an American author best known for his mystery and science fiction novels including the Last Policeman trilogy, Underground Airlines, and Golden State. His works have won prestigious awards such as the Edgar Award, Philip K. Dick Award, and Sidewise Award. He also writes for television, including creating the CBS show Tracker, and lives in Los Angeles with his family.
