Ben-Erik van Wyk

Ben-Erik van Wyk is a distinguished South African professor of botany at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in plant taxonomy, ethnobotany, and medicinal plants. He holds the National Research Chair in Indigenous Plant Use and has authored numerous international books, including 'Medicinal Plants of the World' and 'Culinary Herbs and Spices of the World'.
