Ben Box
Ben Box is a British travel writer born in Bristol, England, who studied Spanish at the University of Southampton (BA) and earned a PhD in Arthurian Legends in Spain and Portugal from a London university. He began his career at a languages bookshop and as a publisher’s representative before becoming a freelance writer in 1980, specializing in Iberian and Latin American topics, notably contributing to the South American Handbook and various Footprint guides on Latin America and the Caribbean since 1989.[1]
