Beatrice Culleton Mosionier
Beatrice Culleton Mosionier is a celebrated Canadian Métis author best known for her classic novel 'In Search of April Raintree,' which draws on her own experiences of growing up in foster homes and the tragic suicides of her two sisters. Born in 1949 in St. Boniface, Manitoba, she later became a prominent voice in Indigenous literature, also writing children's books, plays, and a memoir titled 'Come Walk with Me.'
