Barbara Seranella

Barbara Seranella (1956–2007) was an American mystery novelist known for the gritty Munch Mancini series, which drew heavily on her own experiences as a runaway, former drug user, and auto mechanic. Before becoming a writer, she worked for years as a mechanic and service manager in Southern California; her debut novel, No Human Involved, introduced her signature heroine and helped establish her reputation for hard-edged crime fiction.
