Barbara Means

Dr. Barbara Means is an educational psychologist and research leader who studies the effectiveness of innovative education approaches supported by digital technology. She founded the Center for Technology in Learning Research Group at SRI International and currently serves as the Executive Director of Learning Sciences Research at Digital Promise. She has authored or edited more than a half-dozen books on learning and technology, including the 2014 book "Learning Online," and has advised the U.S. Department of Education on national education technology plans.
