Barbara Katz Rothman

Barbara Katz Rothman is an American sociologist and professor at the City University of New York, where her work spans medical sociology, childbirth and midwifery, bioethics, race, disability, food studies, and the sociology of knowledge. She was born in 1948 and is known for writing and teaching on the social dimensions of medicine, family, and care.[1][4]
