Barbara Benedict

Barbara M. Benedict is the Charles A. Dana Professor of English at Trinity College in Connecticut, where she has taught since 1984. She earned her BA in History and Literature from Harvard University and her PhD in English from the University of California, Berkeley. Her scholarship focuses on eighteenth-century literature, book history, popular culture, and cultural history, and she has published and edited several books on these topics.
