Barbara Ann Kipfer
Dr. Barbara Ann Kipfer, born August 25, 1954, in La Porte, Indiana, is a lexicographer, linguist, and archaeologist with advanced degrees including a PhD in linguistics from the University of Exeter and a PhD in archaeology from Greenwich University. She is best known for her bestselling book '14,000 Things to Be Happy About,' which originated from a notebook started in 1966 and has sold over 1.5 million copies. Kipfer is a pioneer in electronic lexical systems and has authored numerous works blending language, archaeology, and positive inspiration.
