Baltasar Gracian

Baltasar Gracián was a 17th-century Spanish Jesuit and baroque prose writer, best known for his philosophical works and aphorisms, including 'The Art of Worldly Wisdom.' His writings explore themes of wit, judgment, and practical ethics, influencing later thinkers like Schopenhauer. He died in 1658, at a time when his works were still gaining recognition.
