B. Arunachalam

Prof. B. Arunachalam (1933–2024) was a prominent Indian geographer and scholar specializing in maritime heritage and geomorphology. He authored and edited 12 books and approximately 130 research papers, with his major contribution being an ambitious series on the Maritime Heritage of India covering the country's entire maritime regions.
