Augustin Kwasi Fosu
Augustin Kwasi Fosu is a Ghanaian development economist renowned for his research on economic growth, poverty, inequality, governance, and development policy, particularly in Africa.[1][2] He is a Professor at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) at the University of Ghana, with previous roles including Deputy Director at United Nations University-WIDER and Chief Economist at the UN Economic Commission for Africa.[1][2] He holds a bachelor's degree cum laude in economics and mathematics from Lawrence University (1973) and MA/PhD in economics from Northwestern University (1979).[1][2]
