Arthur Koestler

Arthur Koestler was a Hungarian-born British author and journalist, best known for his novel 'Darkness at Noon,' a powerful critique of totalitarianism. He wrote extensively on politics, science, and philosophy, and was a prominent anti-communist intellectual during the Cold War. He died by suicide in 1983.
