Arthur Clutton-Brock

Arthur Clutton-Brock (1868–1924) was an English essayist, critic, and journalist known for his influential writings on art, literature, and culture, including his acclaimed book 'Shelley, The Man and the Poet'. He served as art critic for The Times and contributed significantly to The Times Literary Supplement, where his moral essays on World War 1 were published as 'Thoughts on the War'. Clutton-Brock was also a Fabian socialist and admirer of William Morris, reflecting a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and the social role of the arts.
