Arthur Cheney 1875-1945 Train
Arthur Cheney Train (1875-1945) was an American lawyer and writer renowned for his legal thrillers, particularly the stories featuring the fictional lawyer Mr. Ephraim Tutt. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he graduated from Harvard Law School in 1899, served as an assistant district attorney in New York, and later turned to writing, drawing from his legal experiences. He also wrote science fiction, true crime, and founded the Authors’ League of America in 1912.[1][2][3]
