Arthur Benjamin
Arthur Leslie Benjamin was an Australian composer, pianist, conductor, and teacher born in Sydney in 1893. He is best known for his popular composition Jamaican Rumba (1938) and the Storm Clouds Cantata featured in Alfred Hitchcock's The Man who Knew Too Much. Benjamin had a distinguished career spanning multiple countries, serving as a professor at prestigious institutions including the Royal College of Music in London and conducting the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation Symphony Orchestra.
