Arthur A. Meyerhoff

Arthur A. Meyerhoff was an American petroleum geologist known for his criticisms of plate tectonics, particularly arguing that the theory could not be true due to its implications for coal formation and widespread glaciation. He collaborated with Curt Teichert in 1971 to write a critique of plate tectonics and worked for ten years at Standard Oil before serving as publications manager at the American Association of Petroleum Geologists.
