Arnold Zellner

Arnold Zellner was an American economist and statistician known for his pioneering contributions to Bayesian econometrics, including the development of seemingly unrelated regressions (SUR) and the use of Bayesian methods in economic forecasting. He was a professor at the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and served as president of the American Statistical Association and the International Society for Bayesian Analysis.
