Ariel Schrag

Ariel Schrag is an American cartoonist and television writer born in Berkeley, California, who gained critical recognition as a teenager for her autobiographical comics chronicling each year of her high school experience at Berkeley High School. She authored the controversial novel *Adam* in 2014, adapted into a film in 2019, and has written for television shows including *The L Word* and *How to Make It in America*. Schrag identifies as a 'dyke comic book artist' and currently lives in Brooklyn.
