Ariel Lawhon

Ariel Lawhon is a critically acclaimed, New York Times bestselling author of historical fiction, known for novels such as The Frozen River, Code Name Hélène, and I Was Anastasia. Born in Taos, New Mexico, she grew up in a small hippie town in northern New Mexico in a home without running water or electricity, where her mother read to her by kerosene lantern. She lives in the rolling hills outside Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and four sons.
