Antoon Krings (Author, Illustrator)

Antoon Krings is a French writer and illustrator born in Fourmies, Nord, in 1962, to a Belgian father and French mother, who grew up in Douai after studying graphic arts at École Penninghen.[1] He began his career in fashion and textiles before creating children's books, including Norbert the koala and the acclaimed series Drôles de petites bêtes (Funny Little Animals) starting in 1995 with characters like Mireille the bee, published by Gallimard Jeunesse and translated into over twenty languages.[1][2][5]
