Anthony Joseph Cernera

Anthony Joseph Cernera, Ph.D., is a theologian, psychotherapist, and academic whose 1988 Fordham University dissertation explored 'The signs of the times as word of God' in Catholic ecclesial reflection and theological method. He has held leadership roles including President and CEO of the Center for Interreligious Understanding, executive positions in refugee and migrant education networks, and development campaigns up to $600 million. A three-time living organ donor, public speaker, consultant, meditation instructor, and award-winning skydiver, Cernera also volunteers in hospice care.
