Anthony Clayton

Anthony Clayton was a British military historian and author known for works on the French army, British military history, and colonial conflicts. Born in Upavon, Wiltshire, he taught at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and wrote several influential books, including 'Paths of Glory: The French Army 1914-18'.
