ʿAntarah ibn Shaddd

ʿAntarah ibn Shaddād (c. 525–608 CE) was a pre-Islamic Arab poet and warrior of the Banu ʿAbs tribe, renowned for both his eloquent verse and his bravery in battle. He became a legendary figure in Arabic literature, celebrated for his love poetry, heroic exploits, and his inclusion among the Muʿallaqāt poets.
