Anne Rice
Anne Rice (born Howard Allen Frances O'Brien) was an American author renowned for her Gothic fiction, particularly the Vampire Chronicles series, beginning with Interview with the Vampire in 1976. Born and raised in New Orleans, she also wrote erotic literature under pseudonyms and later explored Bible fiction after rediscovering her Catholic faith. She passed away in 2021 after a prolific career spanning over 30 novels.
