Anne Peters

Anne Peters is a German legal scholar specializing in public international law, born in Berlin in 1964. She studied at the universities of Würzburg, Lausanne, Freiburg, and Harvard, held the chair of public international law at the University of Basel from 2001 to 2013, and has been director at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law. Her works include books on European constitutional theory and she has held leadership roles in international law societies such as president of the European Society of International Law (2010-2012).
