Anne Michaels

Anne Michaels is a Canadian poet and novelist known for the lyrical precision of her writing and internationally acclaimed works such as *Fugitive Pieces* and *Held*. She has won major literary awards including the Orange Prize for Fiction, the Commonwealth Poetry Prize, and the 2024 Giller Prize, and has also served as Toronto’s Poet Laureate.[3][4][6]
