Anna Schmidt

Anna Schmidt, real name Jo Schmidt, is an American author who has written over thirty romance novels under the pen name Anna Schmidt, selling more than half a million copies collectively, and has been a three-time finalist for the RITA award.[1][3][5][6] She has also authored *Parkinson’s Disease for Dummies* and books on eldercare for AARP, transitioning to literary fiction with her 2019 novel *The Winterkeeper*.[1] Note: This profile refers to the contemporary romance author; a separate historical Russian author shares the name.[2]
