Anna Kang

Anna Kang is a Korean-American author and illustrator of children's books, best known for her debut picture book 'You Are (Not) Small,' which won the 2015 Theodor Seuss Geisel Award and was created with her husband, illustrator Christopher Weyant. Born in the Bronx and raised on Long Island, she studied International Relations and Asian Studies at Tufts University before earning an M.F.A. from USC's School of Cinematic Arts and transitioning from screenwriting to children's literature. She began her publishing career later in life, after diverse experiences including work at the Council on Foreign Relations.
