Anna Jacobs
Anna Jacobs, born in 1941 in Rochdale, Lancashire, England, is a prolific English novelist who graduated from the University of Leeds in 1962 and emigrated to Australia in 1973.[1][5] She has authored over 100 novels, primarily historical sagas and family/relationship stories, with fantasy works under the pseudonym Shannah Jay, and her novel Pride of Lancashire won the Australian Romantic Novel of the Year Award in 2006.[1][6] She splits her time between the UK and Australia, remains happily married with two daughters and a grandson, and continues writing at age 83.[2][3][4]
