Anna Dewdney
Anna Dewdney (née Luhrmann) was an American author and illustrator of children's books, best known for the Llama Llama series, starting with Llama Llama Red Pajama in 2005. Before her career in writing and illustrating, she worked as a teacher, rural mail carrier, and was a devoted mother who championed reading aloud to children. She lived in Vermont, restored an 18th-century farmhouse, and passed away in 2016 at age 50 from brain cancer complications.[1][2][3][4]
