Ann Patchett
Ann Patchett is an acclaimed American author known for novels such as Bel Canto, which won the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2002, and The Dutch House, a finalist for the 2020 Pulitzer Prize. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Nashville, she opened the independent bookstore Parnassus Books in 2011 and has received numerous honors, including the National Humanities Medal in 2021. Her works often explore intersecting lives, family dynamics, and human relationships across fiction, nonfiction, and children's books.
