Ann Marie Brown

Ann Marie Brown is a California-based travel journalist with three decades of experience writing for major publications including Sunset, Backpacker, Travel + Leisure, and the San Francisco Chronicle.[1][5] She is the author of 14 guidebooks focused on California and the West, and holds a master's degree in journalism from Stanford University.[1][5] Brown has also taught college writing and journalism courses while guiding hiking and backpacking trips throughout her career.[2]
