Ann M Martin
Ann M. Martin is an American author best known for creating The Baby-Sitters Club series, which has sold over 170 million copies worldwide since its debut in 1986. Born in Princeton, New Jersey, she graduated from Smith College, worked as a teacher and children's book editor, and published her first book, Bummer Summer, in 1983. She has also written acclaimed standalone novels like A Corner of the Universe, a Newbery Honor book, and Rain Reign, and supports literacy through her foundations.
