Anita Lobel
Anita Lobel is a Polish-American author and illustrator of children's books, known for works such as "On Market Street," "A New Coat for Anna," and "No Pretty Pictures: A Child of War." Born in Kraków, Poland, she immigrated to the United States as a teenager, studied at Pratt Institute, and later became a celebrated picture-book creator and Holocaust survivor.
