Anita Diamant
Anita Diamant is an American author best known for her 1997 novel The Red Tent, an international bestseller published in over 25 languages and adapted into a Lifetime miniseries. She has written thirteen books spanning fiction, journalism, and guidebooks on contemporary Jewish life, including The Boston Girl, Good Harbor, and The Last Days of Dogtown. A former freelance journalist in the Boston area since 1975, she holds degrees in comparative literature from Washington University and a master's degree in English from Binghamton University.
