Andrew Ramer

Andrew Elias Ramer, also known as Eli Andrew Ramer, is an ordained maggid (Jewish sacred storyteller), writer, artist, healer, and teacher born in Elmhurst, Queens, New York, in 1951.[1][2][3] He is the author of numerous acclaimed books including *Queering the Text*, *Torah Told Different*, *Deathless*, *Fragments of the Brooklyn Talmud*, *Texting with Angels*, and *Two Flutes Playing*, often exploring Jewish spirituality, queer themes, and angelology.[2][7][6] Previously living in San Francisco and Brooklyn, he now resides in Oakland, California, and has been a guest speaker and faculty member at the University of San Francisco.[2][3][7]
