Andrés Neuman

Andrés Neuman is a Spanish-Argentine writer, poet, translator, columnist, and blogger born in Buenos Aires in 1977 to émigré musician parents, who moved to Granada, Spain when he was fourteen. He studied Spanish philology at the University of Granada, where he taught Latin American literature, and debuted with the novel Bariloche at age 22, which was a finalist for the Herralde Prize. A prolific author across novels, poetry, essays, and more, he has won awards including the Alfaguara Prize and Spain's National Critics Prize, with works translated into over 20 languages and recognized by Granta as one of the best young Spanish-language novelists.
