Andreas Wagner
Andreas Wagner is an Austrian-born evolutionary biologist and professor at the Department of Evolutionary Biology and Environmental Studies at the University of Zurich, where he serves as chairman and leads research on evolutionary innovation, robustness, and adaptation in genes, genomes, and molecular networks.[1][4][5][7] He earned his Ph.D. from Yale University in 1995 and has authored over 250 scientific papers in journals like Nature and Science, as well as six books including 'Life Finds a Way' (2019) and 'Sleeping Beauties' (2023).[1][4] Wagner is also an external professor at the Santa Fe Institute and lectures worldwide.[4][5]
